Word for the Day...MY TURN
I uplift and encourage others with my kind words and considerate acts. The importance of taking turns is a valuable lesson that I learned in childhood. I appreciate the people who have helped me through difficult times, and maybe today it's my turn to help someone make it through a gray period into a brighter day. My kind words or considerate acts may be what a spouse, parent, child or friend needs to be lifted up and out of a down time and encouraged on. Just listening to others or giving them a hug may turn them in a more positive direction. I share a kinship with all God's children. I acknowledge this as a step forward to be of help to my own family and friends and to those in my neighborhood and community.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. I John 3:17-18
